Bible Reading: 2 Timothy 3
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Scripture is such a treasure! Yes it was written by holy men, but inspired by God himself.

2 Peter 1:20-21 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Every word of God is pure, the Bible declares!

Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

The Bible is given by inspiration of God and is profitable to the man of God. Do you take in the pure words of God on a daily basis? It is good for you.

It is profitable for doctrine so that you can know the teaching of the Bible. It is profitable to reprove you when you are sinning. It is profitable to correct you and set you back where God wants you to be. The Bible is the tool for instruction in righteousness.

So many Christians are seeking counselors and information in many different places. The place to go is to God's word. It will make you perfect. It will furnish you with everything you need to live the life God wants for you to live.

Jesus has given us his Word. It will furnish us with everything we need. It will make us perfect (complete). Let us get into it daily and hear what our Creator and Redeemer has to say to us! Let the Word have it's teaching, reproving, correcting and instructing work in our lives!
